Product Specification


FLUID BED DRYER

PNEUCON's Fluid Bed Systems are highly versatile & can be used for various processes; Batch Drying of granulates, Batch Granulation, agglomeration of powder products as well as spray coating of pellets. Designed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry, the FBS is capable of granulation and drying in the same unit. The system is easily disassembled for cleaning and conforms with'cGMP standards. Each air preparation unit is carefully configured, based on the process, location & regulatory requirements. These units are totally modular in construction. Every control system is tailored to specific customer needs. Various options from simple PLC control to the most complex industrial PC & network based control systems are possible.


SALIENT FEATURES


  • Fluidized Bed Chamber [Main Housing], retarding chamber and filter bag housing made from Stainless Steel grade SS 316


  • Chamber will be provided with an inspection window, light window dully sealed with toughened glass


  • Filter Bag fixing through SS Fixing ring and equipped with an inflatable seal


  • Pneumatically operated Inflatable seals with electro-pneumatic signalling device to ensure fail-safe operation


  • Inner surface of the container will be mirror finished


  • Outer surface of the container will be 180 grit finished


  • Waste Water Drain is provided on the Bottom chamber for ease of cleaning


  • Basic equipments with PLC




PRODUCT CONTAINER


  • Product Container made from Stainless Steel SS 316


  • Perforated air distribution plate along with Dutch weave mesh will be provided with quick opening toggle clamp


  • Glass window will be provided on the product container


  • Sample collection port will be provided


  • Product Temperature measurement sensor at product container for better process accuracy



 


AIR PREPARATION UNIT

Inlet Air Handling Unit


Air Handling Unit Construction :


The unit will be double skin having 16 G GI panels in Pre filter section, Microvee filter, and HEPA filter section at the supply air side. With thermal break and coving sections

 

Exhaust Air Handling Unit


The air is sucked by the exhaust blower and is made from MS or SS on demand. Filters can be provided on demand.

Batch Size depends upon the product Density.
The Blower motor of higher capacity will require in machine, supplied with HEPA filter in AHU & ducting length above 5
